Terms of Use

Last updated:

HomeLabFix is operated by Andrey Tretyak and provides free technical information and guided checks. It is not a managed support service, an emergency service or a substitute for the judgment of the person responsible for your systems. These terms are a general site-use statement, not bespoke legal advice.

Applicability and your responsibility

Use information only when it matches the stated product, version, topology and conditions. You are responsible for authorization to access or change a system and for deciding whether a step is appropriate. An observation or possible cause is not a guaranteed diagnosis.

Safety and recovery

Read-only checks should come first. Configuration changes can interrupt access, affect other users or risk data loss. Before a potentially disruptive procedure, understand the specific warning, backups and recovery prerequisites. Stop if they are not met. No general disclaimer replaces the warnings attached to an individual procedure.

No warranty

Information is provided as available, without a promise of completeness, continuing accuracy, fitness for a particular installation or a successful outcome. Human review and cited sources reduce uncertainty but cannot eliminate it. Product behavior and documentation may change.

Responsibility for losses

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HomeLabFix disclaims liability for losses arising from reliance on this information, including downtime or data loss. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. No jurisdiction-specific limitation or compliance certification is asserted.

Third parties and intellectual property

Vendor names and marks belong to their respective owners. References do not imply affiliation or endorsement. External sites have their own terms, and their content and availability are outside HomeLabFix’s control.

Rights in original HomeLabFix material remain with their respective rights holders. Source citations do not grant a license to reproduce third-party documentation. These terms do not create an additional software or content license.

Availability and updates

Pages and features may change or be withdrawn. No uptime, response-time or ongoing support commitment is offered. Review the applicability and verification date each time you use a diagnosis.
