Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy describes the current HomeLabFix application and static hosting on Cloudflare Pages. HomeLabFix is operated by Andrey Tretyak. Infrastructure-side behavior must be rechecked when hosting or security settings change.

Search and diagnostic answers

The site serves static pages. Search filters a local index in your browser; diagnostic answers are held in browser memory. These features do not send search terms or answers to a HomeLabFix backend and do not connect to your NAS, UPS or network. Opening a page or source link still makes a normal web request.

Cookies and browser storage

The application does not set cookies or write search terms, answers or theme choices to localStorage or sessionStorage. The theme control changes the current document; reloading resets this state. Browser caching and any future hosting/security features are separate from this application behavior.

Hosting and operational information

Serving a website can involve processing request information such as IP addresses, requested paths and browser information for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Static pages do not mean that no technical data is processed.

Cloudflare provides hosting and delivery and may process request and security information. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Enabled services, access to logs and applicable retention arrangements must be confirmed against the live configuration; no specific retention period is promised here.

Analytics and advertising

The production site loads a Cloudflare Insights measurement beacon supplied by the hosting layer, separate from the application code. It measures page performance and usage; Cloudflare describes the data collected in its RUM beacon documentation. This existing measurement service is distinct from Google advertising and does not mean AdSense is enabled.

No ad-serving, analytics or affiliate tracking scripts are enabled in the application. AdSense preparation is limited to an optional site-verification meta tag; it does not load Google advertising JavaScript, display ads or send advertising requests from your browser. Infrastructure-side injection must also be checked; it is not visible from repository code alone.

HomeLabFix may use Google AdSense after site approval and a separate decision to enable advertising. Only after the corresponding advertising integration is actually enabled may Google and advertising partners process data under their policies, including IP addresses, page URLs, cookies, advertising identifiers and similar technologies, depending on the services, settings and user choices. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Before advertising is enabled, this policy must be reviewed and updated to describe the actual Google data processing, partners, cookies and other technologies, and the available consent and privacy controls. Any required consent mechanism must be in place before ad requests begin. Site verification alone does not activate that future processing or establish legal compliance.

External and source links

Vendor documentation and other linked sites operate under their own policies. Following a link sends a request to that site and may include referrer information according to your browser and the serving host’s policy. A citation does not transfer HomeLabFix’s privacy commitments to another site.

Contact information and changes

No contact form, user account or message database is implemented. Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected]; see Contact. Email handling occurs through the operator’s email provider rather than a HomeLabFix application database.

Changes to the site or its providers may require policy updates. The date above identifies this version. This page does not claim compliance certification or replace the operator’s responsibility to assess applicable privacy requirements.
